      Verdict

Key Gold went close when stepped up to 1m2f at Lingfield in January and found only Ex Oriente too good. There should be more to come but she's likely to start a short price and TORERO is not out of this. He shaped with promise when staying on for fourth over the extended mile at Wolverhampton on last month's debut and Kevin Ryan's Hernando colt will almost certainly appreciate today's extra distance. The remaining trio are hard to fancy but Greyhope's debut third at Hamilton in September looks to give him a better chance than both Sweet Vera and Lady Gargoyle.
