Gennady didn’t look entirely straightforward at Kelso but kept on well after the last to score. A 10lb hike in the weights looks excessive, however. Bromance also wandered in the closing stages when third at Huntingdon but Spin The Coin was a course and distance winner when last seen over hurdles, though is 8lb higher now. TOUCHEDBYANANGEL was second off this mark on soft going at Perth two runs ago. He usually runs his race and the Irish import is overdue a first win in this country. Gemologist is 0-21 in career starts and will likely find at least one too good again.
