Wot A Shot likes it here and Iconic Belle is also a course and distance winner. The latter has had a recent spin on Tapeta and could go well but GOLDENCARD quickly put matter to bed at Kelso last month. The top weight is 7lb higher here but a follow-up may be on the cards. Prince Khurram has only gone up 4lb for last month’s victory at Bangor so rates a danger with Lorcan Murtagh claiming 3lb. True Romance is having only a third run over hurdles and is making his handicap debut. The grey won twice on the Flat over the summer so is no forlorn hope and Prancing Oscar is also lightly raced, though didn’t seem to enjoy soft going last time at Sedgefield.
