Glenluji won with some authority last time but a 10lb rise makes this much tougher and preference is just for DIGGERATT, while Casela Park can perhaps prove to be next best. Jim Goldie-trained Glenluji has won three of his last five, though those who follow sequences will note that he has not followed-up any of that trio, suggesting that this race may again be one too far. Diggeratt, saddled by Richard Fahey, was runner-up from today's mark of 65 at Thirsk last time over 7f, but his CV suggests that this return to a mile will suit him better and with conditions no issue he gets the nod. Casela Park has not yet won on turf but ran a nice race in a more competitive contest than this at Leopardstown last time out. If he handles this galloping track over a trip that suits then he looks a major player. Number One Guy is 2lbs higher than when scoring for Mark Tompkins at Yarmouth in October but has plenty to prove on recent evidence, and Diggeratt gets the vote.
