Strensall can land this sprint although Frascati provides stern opposition. The evergreen seven-year-old has been running creditably in recent weeks without getting his head in front but this represents a drop in class and he can regain the winning thread. Frascati has been running incredibly well after a spell in the doldrums. She has bagfuls of early pace and could be a serious danger if getting loose. The handicapper has also noted her improvement though. Soaked should take her on and would become a threat should there be significant overnight rain. Viewforth represents a major fly in the ointment in the make-up of this race. He showed glimpses of a return to form at Haydock Park and the Jim Goldie team will be in bullish form after the success of fellow sprinter, Orientor at the weekend. Pirie Hill is better on fast ground while Zarzu and Strawberry Patch are out of form, while Tyne is best watched in the market. A fair sprint in which Strensall is selected.
