Trim Image is the pick here over Alpaga Le Jomage and Almaty Express, with newcomer Bond Puccini worth noting in the market. Trim Image showed up well in two outings in Ireland, and was a creditable third to the odds-on African Breeze on her British debut at Redcar in June. Although she would appreciate a bit more ease in the going on the evidence so far, the daughter of Averti is taken to improve again and beat the colt Alpaga Le Jomage, who to be fair, will find this easier than when soundly beaten in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot. He has had quite a few opportunities already though, and although this represents his easiest task for a while, he could be worth taking on. Almaty Express was unlucky in running on his last visit here but that was in selling company, so he has more to do. The dark horse could be Bond Puccini as Bryan Smart's youngsters are starting to catch the eye on the gallops and this full-brother to Don Puccini is entered for a host of expensive juvenile contests later this year. Any money for him would prove significant, but on this occasion we shall opt for Trim Image.
