In depth

Verdict

Primo's Comet bounced back to winning form over course and distance in April and is on a winning mark here. His rivals are mainly typical hit-and-miss handicap sprinters who pop up in their turn but we'll take a chance that this may be the day that EEH BAH GUM finds the winning touch again. He last scored back in 2018 but now runs off a mark of just 71, 14lb lower than this time last year. The others all have a shout with Victory Angel and Cowboy Soldier making most appeal.
