Forehand was an impressive winner at Goodwood last time and can follow up this afternoon at the expense of Toss The Caber and Forest Viking. Ed Vaughn's filly, though poorly drawn, came wide off the bend and hit the front three out, striding out to a decisive success. She is clearly improving fast and if repeating this display, she can go in again. Toss The Caber landed a weak selling handicap at Thirsk last month and wasn't disgraced in a better event over course and distance next time out. He should be in the money this afternoon. Forest Viking didn't stay the mile and half last time, but had previously chased home Sir Night over ten furlongs at Beverley. This trip should be ideal and he holds solid each-way claims. Any money for Tim Easterby's Bust should be noted, but with improvement expected, Forehand looks the one to beat.
