In depth

Verdict

Aspen Falls can put a recent poor effort behind her and land this modest contest from Howards Prince and Our Sheila. Sir Mark Prescott's filly Aspen Falls had run well on her debut, but on vastly faster ground than when last seen at Hamilton. With this much firmer surface this afternoon should is expected to show her true colours. Howards Prince hasn't been beaten far by the likes of Salut D'Amour and Clare Hills and so has to be respected in this company. Meanwhile Our Sheila can be expected to improve leaps and bounds following an easy introduction at Thirsk. Kevin Ryan is very capable of sending out a first time winner so watch for any market move for his filly Kayrati, however Aspen Falls has very strong claims on her debut run and is a confident choice.
