Verdict

John Williams has won four times around here, including this a year ago, and can never be ruled out. He's 5lb lower than his last winning mark while Swinton Diamond is only 4lb higher than when scoring at Cartmel last October and, if Micky Hammond has him right, he could be thereabouts. IM TOO GENEROUS scored easily over hurdles here last week when on a mark of 107 so he's likely to shoot up the ratings and can revert to fences on 3lb lower. He's had little racing for his age and will take some beating with Nathan Moscrop's claim another bonus. Benny's Secret overcame a bad mistake at the second-last to gain a comfortable victory here early last month and a 7lb rise is unlikely to prevent another big run.
