Verdict
Winning point-to pointer Avoid De Master ran well on his debut over timber at Hereford but very poorly on a return visit. MALYSTIC won two bumpers at Newcastle last winter before well beaten in a Grade 2 at Aintree. He was well supported to make a successful hurdling debut at Market Rasen and was in touch when unseating his rider 3 out. Compensation awaits here though No Regrets was also well backed on his hurdling bow at Hexham but found 2m4f on heavy ground too much for him - this should be more like it. Sioux Frontier won here and at Hamilton in the spring though both on fast ground but seven-times Flat winner Trinity Star scored on good to soft at Thirsk in August.
