Verdict

With nothing particularly standing out in the second division of this handicap it may well pay to side with Lions Domaine ahead of Mr Bountiful and Supreme Salutation. A winner here last May, the selection has struggled since that victory but with underfoot conditions once again in his favour and ridden by his usual partner he should go very close. Mr Bountiful has been running well on the AW, winning well at both Southwell and Wolverhampton. The suspicion is he is a better horse on the sand and may struggle with conditions fast enough. Supreme Salutation is not the force he once was but has dropped to the kind of mark he could start winning on turf again though his draw here may stop him from scoring here.
