In depth

Verdict

Ile Michel should have little trouble here in landing this weak-looking contest from General Hawk and the fit from racing Active Account. Following two good wins at Lingfield and Folkestone. Lady Herries¿ gelding steps up in trip but should still prove too strong for his rivals on ground very much to his liking. Active Account has been raised in the handicap for finishing a close second to the useful Jajoor at Nottingham a few weeks ago and has struggled off a similar mark in the past. The same can be said of General Hawk who has never run particularly well from so high in the handicap and although he may have improved again over the summer he should still struggle if the selection runs up to his best.
