Saeed Bin Suroor has made a flying start to the Carnival and is well represented here. Adroitly was Listed class in Australia though he generally races on ground with plenty of give. Royal Empire won twice on Polytrack in the UK and handled the Tapeta track here in great style when making a winning debut three weeks ago with Start Right, who came from a long way behind, just a couple of lengths away in third. Neither will have a problem reverting to Turf and the latter can reverse the form on the revised terms. Alkimos introduced himself in Dubai with a very impressive victory over the track and trip and the assessor was equally impressed, raising him 8lb though that shouldn't prevent another big effort. Bank Of Burden, a regular winner at Group 3 level in Scandanavia, was well beaten in both starts here last year but arrives in outstanding form this time while the Germany-based Salon Soldier is a genuine Group 3 performer in his own country. The consistent Tanfeeth is always worth a second look but it's MUSHREQ, who contested Group 1's in South Africa and really caught the eye behind Masteroftherolls here last time, who is handed the vote under Paul Hanagan.
