Vieux Carre was placed four times for David O’Meara before having a run in Sweden. She didn’t show much here last week and is unlikely to get anywhere near SHADZADI. Bhupat Seemar’s filly was beaten less than four lengths behind Shahama in the UAE 1000 Guineas Trial and should have no problems losing her maiden tag with the winner having won the fillies’ classic on Friday. Shalfa and Remas were both well behind and along with Nobody’s Joke and Tulip R, who had been beaten a long way behind that winner earlier, look well held.
