Footbridge, placed in the Grade 1 Awesome Again Stakes at Santa Anita, had smart form on Dirt in the USA and looks an ideal type for this track. His stablemate Saint Baudolino, a close third in the Grand Prix De Paris in 2012 when trained by Andre Fabre, hasn't run since the Prince Of Wales's Stakes the following year. The Godolphin pair are the obvious class acts here and would be expected to concede weight to the likes of HENRY CLAY in normal circumstances but the latter is race-fit and in form so gets the vote to gain the ninth victory of his career. Emirates Flyer was in tremendous form at this time a year ago but has run nowhere near that level this season but the consistent Farrier has to be given a chance.
