Stablemates No Delusion and Simple Elegance have similar form though the former is less exposed and steps up in trip after a second over 6f. John Gosden won this last year so Melbourne Shuffle has to come into the reckoning but a chance is taken on one of the newcomers. Clarentine and Mile High are worth noting but the Coolmore-owned FONDLY is a half-sister to three winners including the high-class Group 1 winning miler Canford Cliffs. The Hannon filly may well be good enough starting off her career at this level and gets the nod.
