The two four-year-olds, Tashbeeh and MASTERMIND, have to concede plenty of weight to their northern hemisphere-bred rivals though both arrive in tremendous form. The former has won his last two races in Australia including a very tough handicap at Flemington last month and, if ready after his long journey, would have to be considered but it's Mike De Kock's charge who can come out on top. He had most of this field behind when landing the trial for this three weeks ago though he had the benefit of a previous run and connections of runner-up Volatile, who missed the break, close third Toscanelli, and Wychwood Warrior, who stayed on well, will have hopes of overturning the form. Godolphin's lightly-raced Good Contact has his first run since September but is one to note for the future.
