        Verdict

        After numerous near-misses, Come Uppence finally got his head in front when winning a maiden over track and trip here last month. Gerrard's Slip also opened his account in maiden company over 6f here recently and Moon River won a handicap over the same trip at Kempton in December. Zebs Lad failed to cope with a 6lb penalty last time having also won at Kempton earlier so another chance goes to PATRICK. A winner at the first time of asking, he made his handicap debut in a tougher race at Chelmsford three weeks ago and can take advantage of the drop in class with improvement likely.
