In depth

Verdict

El Mansour was returning from a two-year break when just holding off the fast-finishing Representation over the track and trip a fortnight ago when the favourite Karma Chameleon couldn't quicken in third and Moannaa was close up in fourth. That was a slowly run event, however, and it would be no shock to see either of the placed horses reverse the form. Blue Sea returned to winning form at Jebel Ali but has a bit more to do here and Antinori may do better as he was staying on over a mile behind Ramonti Flash last time. Canary Wharf won twice for Marco Botti and has joined an in-form yard but a chance is taken with the former William Haggas-trained KAHRUMAN, a decent sixth on his debut for new connections in Ramonti Flash's race and likely to be a fair price here.
