        Verdict

        Dream Castle won this for Godolphin in 2019, the first leg of a brilliant hat-trick culminating in the Group 1 Jebel Hatta. But he never quite recaptured that form and was a long way behind LORD GLITTERS in the Queen Anne at Royal Ascot that year. The winner hasn't won subsequently but has continued to run well at a high level and David O'Meara will have him ready for this nice prize. It's difficult to separate the Godolphin entries but Mythical Magic and Zakouski were virtually upsides when 1-2 in the Zabeel Mile, with Dream Castle a close-up third, though the former was a long way behind the selection in the Queen Anne. Military March was having only his third start when an excellent four lengths behind Kameko in last year's 2000 Guineas at Newmarket though the long absence is a concern.
