        Verdict

        Club Oceanic is an obvious threat to all having been purchased for 155,000gns after gaining his fifth success for Jeremy Noseda at Doncaster in September. Godolphin are also represented by Measuring Time, who doesn't have the best of strike-rates, and Royal Revival, who was beaten in three starts here last year. Jamr has really taken to the surface and defied a big weight rise for his success here in November with a smooth victory on the opening day of the Carnival. But the lightly-raced MANTOBA can take this as he warmed up with a good run in a Listed contest at Lingfield and is on a fair mark. He had Lyssio around three lengths behind that day and the latter came here to run a big race behind Honour System a fortnight ago. Rochdale has gone up again for his victories at non-Carnival meetings here and this looks tougher.
