          Verdict

          VALIANT PRINCE landed a Chelmsford novices' event by nine lengths in September and made a winning start here last month when making all over the trip. He's lightly raced and there should be much more to come. Godolphin probably have the main threat in Dubai Love, a winner on the Dirt track here and twice placed in Group 2 company on Turf including in the Balanchine a fortnight ago where she was only beaten a length. Dubai Mirage was staying on over 1m2f last time so may find a couple of these too quick but Ascot Brass, who showed strong form in Sweden, was only caught on the line in the Group 2 Cape Verdi last month and a similar run would see her in the frame.
