MYKONOS ST JOHN escapes a penalty for winning an apprentices’ race here last time and can take advantage. Custard The Dragon is a multiple winner at this venue but over 7f and has had plenty of previous attempts at today’s trip but Muhalhel returned from a lay-off with a good effort over course and distance and is preferred to Wolverhampton runner-up My Brother Mike. Sharib has won twice in France but debuts on the all-weather on his first start for new connections.
