In depth

Verdict

Global Heat was beaten a short-head in this a year ago but arrived in good form, unlike this time, and Godolphin look to have a much better chance with the unbeaten MANOBO. He ended his first campaign with a victory in a Group 2 over 1m7f at Longchamp and, providing the ground doesn't come up fast, he'll take some beating, especially as he receives an allowance from the older horses. Rodrigo Diaz is the second top-rated in the line-up and he had Pablo Escobarr behind when runner-up to the odds-on Hukum in the Geoffrey Freer at Newbury. Dancing King made tremendous progress last season, starting out on a mark of 79 to land a Wolverhampton handicap and now on 103 after landing the Group 3 March Stakes. He's another four-year-old with an allowance and could provide the main threat.
