        Verdict

        Doug Watson holds a very strong hand here. Sahra Al Khadra won three and was placed in the other five on his last eight starts for Charlie Hills in the UK. This track and trip are expected to suit and he's an interesting contender. One Man Band won here early last month and then started favourite for a handicap but could only finish third behind Filfil. A line through that winner suggests he may just be behind State Law in the Watson pecking order and it's Pat Dobbs' mount who is taken to come out on top of the trio this time. Colour Guard's three victories in the UK were all at Southwell so this surface should suit though he's never run well on the track. WAAHY (NAP) is the definite form pick on his maiden victory of a year ago as the placed horses have boosted the form to a great extent, the runner-up winning three times and the third ending the campaign as runner-up in the UAE Derby. If he's ready for this he'll take the world of beating.
