        Verdict

        This fixture isn't part of the Carnival and is mainly for the locals. Satish Seemar has three entries in this opener with YEAR OF GLORY looking the best of them. He's been leading over longer trips and is vulnerable to something with pace but this is a very moderate-looking event and he may be capable of an all-the-way success. Sullivan Street has found 7f stretching him on his two latest starts after a decent effort over this trip at Jebel Ali. His stablemate, the lightly-raced Stamford, will be better for last month's run at Al Ain and would have to be respected on his earlier close fourth in a big field at Newmarket. Intense Effort has shown some potential and looks best of the remainder.
