Verde-Mar didn't show much in three runs here last year though in better company and his three victories last summer came in Sweden. REYNALDOTHEWIZARD did well to finish fourth behind Captain Obvious in a hot race last month and was in good form in non Carnival events last December. He finished just in front of Silaah that day and, as he hasn't had much racing for his age, can continue his progress and take this. Ariete Arrollador won a Listed race over a mile at Deauville in December and has run two fine races here but is better over further, a remark that also applies to the former Richard Hannon-trained Casual Glimpse, who has his first start for Mike De Kock. Kanaf is a useful sprinter who scored at Jebel Ali last month but the Spain-based As De Trebol hasn't quite recaptured last year's fine form.
