Pearly King produced a shock victory over 1m2f here in December and has been well backed to augment that success in all three subsequent starts but has failed to deliver. Secretive, a winner at Brighton for Mark Johnston in August, made a fair start for his new trainer at Jebel Ali last week and will have come on for the run. SABOTEUR won a slightly better handicap than this over a mile here two months ago and ran quite well on his next start on the track. He was never travelling at Jebel Ali last time but that's not the first time he's run badly on dirt. He looks to have as good a chance as any but Colony has yet to produce the goods on any all-weather surface after his three victories on turf. Lando Junior, a dual winner in France, made a winning debut here in December and probably isn't badly treated with a 7lb rise to contend with.
