In depth

Verdict

It's a surprise to see Strecker back over this trip as he did much better when dropped to 6f here in January and produced a career-best performance. Kilt Rock, a winner at Catterick in August, hasn't been beaten far in any of his half-dozen runs on Tapeta here and looks a threat to all. WADI WANDERER, a winner over this trip for Ed Vaughan at Southwell last May, made a fair debut here before a very good effort at Sharjah and looks well enough treated to gain his first victory in Dubai. Heart Beat produced one of the worst runs of his career on his only start on this track, however, while Western Adventure is a massive 18lb higher than when scoring over a mile here in December.
