Magic City won't have had much time to acclimatise having run at Lingfield less than a fortnight ago. Mike De Kock has four entries and Christophe Soumillon's presence on board the former Australia-trained Ajeeb suggests he could be the stable pick after a pipe-opener over a trip too short. However, at these weights it could be his stablemate CAPTAIN LARS who lands the spoils as he won five races in South Africa and will have come on a bundle for his run behind Belgian Bill three weeks ago. Music Theory has to be a major threat as he made a promising debut here behind stablemate Safety Check, who gave the form a massive boost with a subsequent Group 2 success. Short Squeeze wasn't far behind in that former race and didn't get the clearest of runs so he's another to consider as is Our Channel, who led for a long way on his debut over 1m1f here last month.
