PRINCE BISHOP won this last year on Tapeta from old foe and stablemate African Story with Zambucca beaten five lengths into third and Surfer a further three lengths behind. The quartet met again in the final when the former again prevailed with the latter behind and African Story, who finished lame, well beaten. But the latter then went on to land the World Cup with today's selection in mid-division after missing the break and Surfer almost last. Unlike the former pair, who have never raced on Dirt, Surfer has proved himself on the surface and arrives fit and well from his two victories, the latest in a Group 2 from today's rivals Frankyfourfingers, Haatheq and the staying-on Emirates Flyer with Zambucca well beaten. The runner-up, four times a winner in France, should get closer without reversing the form and the former Argentina Group 1 winner Cooptado can progress from his Listed victory here in December but might not be good enough on this occasion.
