Singapore-based Steven Burridge has had an incredible start in Dubai and IP MAN was one of his four winners when comfortably landing a handicap a couple of weeks ago. As a southern hemisphere four-year-old he'll have to concede weight to most of his rivals but looks well up to the task. Several of these ran in a conditions event over the C&D recently won by Dark Matter with Factory Time coming out best though he was well beaten. Strait Of Zanzibar was just behind and, as that was his first start since the Horris Hill at Newbury in October, he can improve enough to reverse the places. It was a poor event that Sand Stamp won a month ago but he's a progressive type who deserves a crack in this higher grade while the UK-trained pair Burano and Kenny Powers should be noted for future reference as they are both lightly-raced.
