Verdict
Vagabond Shoes, a Group 3 winner in France last summer, has his first race in Dubai and makes his debut on an artificial surface. Disa Leader, a Group 1 winner in Mauritius, had a sighter here two weeks ago and will be better for the run. Mike De Kock also runs Zanzamar, who was in superb form when last seen here on World Cup night in March finishing close up in a Group 2. Stablemate Reem was behind on that occasion but has the benefit of a recent run on turf and is better on this surface while the much-travelled Jardim is another entry from the yard and has sneaked in as a reserve. Regal Parade can get competitive though he's better known as a sprinter. RED GULCH travelled well for much of the way here three weeks ago before fading late. With that under his belt he'll take some beating. The veteran Hujaylea will be fighting fit after two eye-catching efforts here last month and looks better than stablemate Banna Boirche while Kavango was in fine form here last year and a recent run will have put him straight.
