Satish Seemar has made a sparkling start to the new season and saddles half of the eight runners here. Richard Mullen partnered both Nalout and LEAP OF HOPE on their respective debuts on the track and sticks with the latter, who made the running until caught in the final strides in the opening race of the campaign over the trip. She can go one better as Irish import Mabrouka, who had two runs for Michael Halford, may need her first run on the surface. Her trainer, champion UAE handler Doug Watson, also runs the newcomer Trasparencia, who is classed as a three-year-old having been bred in the southern hemisphere and has to concede weight all round. Al Madam didn't get the hang of the job until the race was over here a fortnight ago and looks the main threat with that experience under her belt.
