In depth

Verdict

A wide open contest here but Homer is confidently expected to score, he ran well when second on his debut for Martin Pipe when second at Bangor in an amateur race having been left with far to much to do and now he is ridden by McCoy he will be very hard to beat. Glacial Missile rates the main danger he won in game fashion at Southwell last time out and this course is ideally suited to front runners. Xaipete ran as if in need of the run when third on his debut this season, he will have come on for that run but may still be in the handicappers grip. Terdad would be another to consider on his best form but he has become very disappointing and has his own ideas about the game. Lemon Bridge could also go well if he ordains to put his best foot forward as he did last time when a good winner at Stratford.
