Verdict

Ashgar would win this easily on his best form but he has become a very hard ride, he needed to be pushed along from the start last time out when sent off a short priced favourite and he could only manage a second beaten a head by Son Of Light at Southwell but he does Have Tony McCoy on board and he will be very hard to beat. Misty Ridge is hurdle winner on this course and if he can reproduce that effort on his first try over fences he rates the main danger. Sijujama is a point to point winner who has shown a modicum of ability over hurdles and she should be suited by the switch to fences but although she travels well in her races she finds very little off the bridle. Mount Gay was second in a maiden hurdle at Perth last time out and he to could run into a place if he takes to the fences.
