I'M THE DECIDER, Golden Duck and Wilhewispa are the three to concentrate on here with marginal preference for the first named. Malcolm Jefferson's Wilhewispa has a little to prove having had just the one start over fences but that run over course and distance was not a bad performance. It came in a fairly competitive handicap and he may prove capable of having a say in the outcome of this heat. Golden Duck is coming back from a long absence but fitness is rarely a concern with horses from this yard and he's unlikely to fail on that score. Of his five chase starts, he has won two and finished second three times and he has the scope to take higher order in this sphere; he's a must for the short-list. I'm The Decider ran well enough on debut in a bumper but showed no more than modest ability in three runs over hurdles. However, the switch to chasing and handicap company brought about some improvement as he ran well to finish second to a progressive sort at Leicester. He looked in need of further than two miles on that occasion and this longer trip can see I'm The Decider open his account.
