KENSINGTON OVAL can knock his rivals for six here; Rayhani joins Drill Sergeant and Pevensey on the shortlist. The selection is beautifully bred, and is a full brother to Ask who is a multiple Group Three winner and was only narrowly denied in the Grade One Woodbine International last season. Well-fancied for his handicap debut at the track, the selection was well held in midfield having been slowly away and never looked like featuring. Not given a hard time when defeat was obvious, the step up to this trip will see him in a better light and in a less competitive race he can take high rank. Rayhani is a course and distance winner, as is Pevensey who won this race back in 2006. Birkside is just lacking at this level, so of more interest may be Drill Sergeant who is better than he showed last time. Young Mick hasn't been at his best this season and can be taken on despite his fondness for the course. Night Crescendo and Sahrati try first-time headgear to encourage them along, whilst Hatton Flight is probably now in the grip of the handicapper. Kensington Oval is taken to lead them home.
