OVERRULE could be a smart recruit and he is taken to see off Zafar and Crosby Jemma. The selection has been in good form on the flat and has demonstrated considerable improvement over the season. Granted, he showed little on a previous hurdling bow but we are prepared to forgive him that blip. Zafar will do well to concede penalties all around. That said, with his handicap rating, he will struggle in all age handicaps. Crosby Jemma hails from an unfashionable yard though she is not without ability. She could pick up a weak race if learning to fully settle. Aggravation has been disappointing in handicaps on the flat. Nephin Lad brings Irish form to the table while Amir Pasha and Tank Commander represent an in form yard though need to have shown significant levels of improvement since they last were sighted over timber. Overrule could be an above average recruit and we will not miss him today.
