Rainy City returns to hurdles after struggling over fences, but has been well beaten at this level before. Solway Dandy has fared well in two outings since his return from a long absence, but could use some help from the handicapper, as could Guitar Pete and Matorico. There is surely more to come from Excellent Result who is stepped up in trip here and is likely to fare better than when previously seen in a handicap, but preference is for WHATZDJAZZ. She was a comfortable winner of a novices’ event at Worcester earlier this month and looks well-treated based on how much she had in hand that day. Call The Cops has dropped to a low mark but has yet to recapture the form he showed two years ago.
