Verdict
Blue Comet won a novice event here in July and followed up in a course and distance handicap in August, though is 8lb higher now. RED RISING (NAP) was odds-on for his hurdling debut at Catterick in February and never looked in danger of defeat. His long-term future will be over fences but he still has plenty of scope over hurdles and can make a winning reappearance. It's Your Move will appreciate a first try over this trip and makes his handicap debut so should be thereabouts while Hey Bill was largely progressive last autumn. The remaining trio are a lot more exposed, however.
