      Plenty with claims in this opener but EMPHATIC showed a big improvement to finish third over track and trip last month and the runner-up has subsequently boosted the form by winning. Immortal Romance was fifth at Ascot last time and is weighted to beat both Biddy Brady and Geesala Brave while Mearing ran well in soft ground at Wetherby on his earlier debut and will be hoping the forecast rain arrives. I Was Only Joking is related to a winning sprinter in France and a newcomer to note.
