Pat Haslam's juvenile hurdlers are worth following at this time of year, so with that in mind, Shot Through is selected over Tyur Ted and Never Catcher. The betting will be a good guide towards the rest of the hurdling debutantes; so it may pay to be flexible regarding market movers. Never Catcher won a four-runner sprint at Folkestone before posting a couple of modest efforts over slightly further, so obviously needs to prove her stamina for today¿s trip. Paul Blockley has a fair record with his jumpers, so she is no forlorn hope here. Tyur Ted makes the trip across the Irish Sea for his hurdles debut and is likely to capture the imagination of the on course public. He has stamina from his dam's side and should not be dismissed too quickly. However, Shot Through is typical of the type of animal Haslam has done so well with over the years and, in a race where there is a lot of guesswork contained in drawing up the shortlist, this son of Golden Missile just gets the nod this time around.
