Eleazar has been a grand servant to Lucy Wadham but seems to need further than this nowadays. The 12-year-old won over 3m4f at Stratford in June and could be worth opposing here with STRUMBLE HEAD. Peter Bowen has had to be patient with his gelding but he's back on a winning mark now and has been running a bit better than his form figures would suggest this year. Donnas Palm still looks too high in the weights but did have King's Legacy and Pineau De Re behind when sixth in the Summer Plate here four weeks ago and can confirm that form.

King's Legacy (IRE) 12-1 (10-2) In rear, effort before 3 out, never dangerous, 7th of 16, 24l behind Bobowen (10-6) at Market Rasen 2m 6f listed hcp chs (1) gf in Jul.
Eleazar (GER) 7-1 (11-4) Held up, headway after 11th, outpaced after 16th, rallied when left 2nd last, stayed on to lead towards finish, won at Stratford 3m 4f hcp chs 0-125 (3) gf in Jun beating I Need A Hero (11-2) by 2 3/4l, 6 ran.
