Verdict

Good to see Hang In There bounce back to winning ways recently and he's greatly respected in this follow-up attempt with Joe Anderson claiming his10lb allowance. The gelding is certainly the class act of the race. Ben French Davis has partnered Hooper to his three latest successes and the combination merits consideration with the gelding aiming for six in a row, although a 7lb rise for his most recent win seems harsh. Mrs Hyde, running poorly on the Flat, is worth a market watch and Wicked West is very tempting after a couple of easy low-key wins and has almost certainly been prepared for this by shrewd connections. However, the progressive CAMPROND ran a smashing race when third in the Swinton Hurdle behind Copperless in May and must have a strong shout here off the same mark.
