In depth

Verdict

DAL HORRISGLE, a very useful Flat handicapper for William Haggas, landed a first hurdling success in the care of Alan King at Uttoxeter with the minimum of fuss. It will be interesting to watch his progress up the hurdling ladder. Socks Off landed his sole success to date in a National Hunt Flat race in the winter and delivered a career-best effort over timber when a close Hexham third last time in a decent contest. He travelled well that day and could give the likely favourite a race in receipt of a stone with the Brogan claim factored in. Gms Prince didn't run too badly this month but does appear outclassed.
