A modest affair in which Tee Jay secures the verdict ahead of Pillar Of Fire and Quizling. Micky Hammond¿s string are running relatively well of late and while Tee Jay¿s best runs have tended to be at Hexham and Sedgefield, he does like the faster surface and this isn't the trickiest of assignments. He was rated in excess of 110 over hurdles and while this isn't a recommendation in itself, his chasing mark is a couple of stones lower than that. Pillar Of Fire has obvious form claims but he often is well backed but leaves his punters empty-handed. His rounds often punctuated with the odd hairy leap or two for good measure. Quizzling ran up to his best at Worcester but that probably isn't saying too much given what came before. Make It Easy¿s wins have been in what were little better than plating contests. Today represents a leap up in class. Beaugency has reportedly suffered with breathing problems. His completion record has not been assisted by an unseating and a fall in recent events. Sendonthecheque often takes a keen hold in races and the visor failed to alleviate the problem last time out. Tee Jay is at least consistent and in a race in which there are plenty of questions against the majority of the market principals ¿ we shall stick with him on this occasion.
