Ceannairceach is offered up as a tentative selection ahead of Sardagna, Giorgio and Moscow Dancer. Formerly raced in Ireland, Ceannairceach won on debut for Malcolm Jefferson off a mark of 98. A sound jumper of fences, a small rise of 8lb does not look to be particularly harsh, and back on his favoured fast ground, he has plenty of ticks in the right boxes. Sardagna has to be respected despite some dismal form of late. His better form has been shown around this circuit and Martin Pipe¿s team are sending out winners. Giorgio is a bold front runner when put over longer distances. His jumping is far from his most redeeming feature and he may well buckle when put under pressure by quicker animals here. Moscow Dancer has been a real money spinner for connections. He appears capable of handling any surface and will be played late this afternoon. Musical Stage is watched feverishly in the market. He was a useful novice prior to his long absence and while that figure of over a year off looks ugly ¿ Paul Webber is a past master of successfully bringing back horses from long breaks so any market confidence should be leapt upon from a punting perspective. Fiery Peace would have a chance on some of his better form but Henry Daly¿s stable have been very quiet as far as entries are concerned and he may well be best avoided at present. Honan is none-too-genuine and seems to have failed for most licenced jockeys. Not a great contest but good jumping will win it and Ceannairceach can post another success for Malton-based Malcolm Jefferson.
