Priceless Art sets a fair standard but he disappointed backers last time and can be taken on with ROBELLO in a race where the market may prove the best guide. Our selection is a half-brother to debut bumper winner Gold Reef and the booking of Choc Thornton, who has a 25% record in bumpers for the yard over the past five years, suggests he may be up to making a winning debut. The market will tell us more and confidence is far from high without support, but we're inclined to take on Priceless Art. Alan Swinbank has a great record in this sphere and in all likelihood his gelding will go well despite the penalty he's incurred for making a winning debut back in March. That was the case at Perth last time when the five-year-old took second but he was ultimately well held in the end and may be sent off at odds-on, in which case he's surely worth opposing with an each-way pick such as ours. Others to consider include Tealissio, an unraced son of a dual bumper winner who needs a check in the betting ahead of his debut with Lucy Wadham always to be respected in this type of contest. Sue Smith saddles Whiskey Ridge and Fill The Power with the latter likely to prove the pick after Whiskey Ridge showed little on his debut here. In all probability though Tjade Collier's mount will be seen to better effect when sent over further so along with point-to-point recruit Up And Away is opposed as we return to Robello.
